I lost my dad last Feb. and I still think about him every day. All you can do is take one day at a time.

You are in my thoughts today.
I remember some of your posts about your husband and his health and how you had made the decision to be together even though there were serious doubts about how you would manage or how long you would be able to be together as a couple. I remember being touched by the courage and love you showed for him in the life you chose to live together. There are many who would not have made that decision, but it worked for you and I respected you the more for it. Although you knew this day would come, and spoke bravely about it in the past, it still hurts to know this has happened. It was inspiring to see the courageous choices you made which allowed you and your husband to have the time together that you did, and I hope you find peace in the future.

Oh jsgoddess I was so shocked to see this. I am not the most frequent poster or reader but I always see your user name and smile and check out what you’ve got to say. I read enough to know that your husband was in poor health and you loved him very much and I’m just very very sorry.
