47.96D / 4.79U (MBPS)
Local ISP that franchises service from the municipal power company.
I’ve known about Ookla for years. I have their app on my phone. Currently, my speed is 15.2 mbps on Simple Mobile 4G LTE.
59.18 down
18.35 up
We have fibre to the cabinet in the street, existing copper wire from cabinet into homes.
Suddenly I am impressed by Saudi Telecom.
This one checks the speed specifically from the Netflix servers:
fast.com
And here are some others:

Bear in mind that if you are measuring your speed via Wi-Fi, that may be a speed constraint. Hardwiring to your modem or router with an ethernet cable brings you closer to what the ISP is providing.
From the first link (speedtest.net): 67.92 Mibit/s download and 10.40 Mibit/s upload.
ISP is Vidéotron cable. As far as I know, the fibre run ends about 3 km from here. Our last speed increase was done instantly by the customer service staff on the phone (in other words, we were speed-limited by software – and may still be).
I’ve got fibre to the house. At the moment, my iPad is showing 210/160, but on a wired desktop I get 950 down and 750 Mbps up.
Roughly 40 download, 1.5 upload.
Let’s hear it for Atlantic Broadband…
95.4 Mbps up, 109 Mbps down, Verizon FIOS, northern Virginia, fiber to the house.
Using speedtest.net here at work, the download speed is 94.64 Mbps, and the upload speed is 94.84 Mbps.
172.93 Mbps down/ 10.59 Mbps up (talk about asymmetrical…).
This is Cox Phoenix. They keep trying to push me to 300 MBps or “GigaBlast,” and my thought is “why?”
The only advantage for me would be unlimited data. We currently use almost 500GB/month.
178 down/12 up
Google has been doing this for years now and works as well as Ookla without any annoying extras.
In the google search window, just type SpeedTest and the tool comes up.
My speed on a hardwire to the router is 83.6 Mbps. My uploads is 52.3 Mbps (Fios)
Finally somebody reporting using an appropriate number of significant figures. Mr Spock has a lot to answer for.
VPN On:

VPN Off:

23.5 down, 2 up. Copper cables everywhere. Pathetic.
36.7 down and 18.0 up.
A country town in the UK.
290/340 Mbps.
Well that was ‘Google speed test’ - now ‘Broadband speed test’ says:
44.2 down and 19.2 up.
BT (who supply my Broadband) claim:
74.3 down and 26.1 up.
