My JW nurse doesn't like it when I say Geez

Update: My nurse was back today. We had a very funny conversation in which she told me she is very shocked by the extent of cursing going on in the world especially in the hospitals where she’s been doing rotations while in school. She said, “And it was really a shock because I’m so used to your house where it doesn’t go on that much like that…”

Based on that, I’ve concluded that she indeed is as sensitive as I thought she was but also that she appreciates that we don’t all have a running vocabulary of profanities every five words. Then my niece & nephew came to play for a while and all it was for an hour or two was “Aaahhh geez. OH MY GOD. AAAAAh GEEZ.” lol they’re five & seven where ever did they get it?

I still remember being in awe of how perfectly the little one uses “fuck” in its right context and tone.

Simple. Stick with, “shit,” “fuck,” “asshole,” and similar exclamations. There are (as far as I can tell) absolutely no religious connotations to any of those words.

If she complains, you can simply tell her that you were trying to be sensitive to her beliefs in not invoking the name of her god/savior. Surely she will appreciate your attempts to accommodate her in this matter, yes?
