My leg fucking HURTS!

So I was loading up my truck at work this morning (I deliver Tempurpedic™ mattresses), and I accidentally stepped in the space between the dock and the truck, not looking at where I was stepping. The result was my leg falling through the hole, and me falling toward the truck and landing with my thigh on the thin edge of the back of the truck. Now I have a nasty abrasion, and it’s bruised like all hell. I’m surprised I didn’t break my femur. I ended up working though it, even though my partner said, “Dude, I would’ve gone home.”

Fuck. This sucks.

At least you’re closer to “performing” with the appropriate appendage than the OP in the thumb thread.

On serious note. I feel for you, I’m forever doing klutzy stuff like that and hurting my stupid self. Hope it feels better soon.

I’m glad to know there aren’t any broken bones, and I hope you’re feeling better soon.

(Note to self: avoid jobs that involve mattress delivery.)
