Out early today, the Kid and I are off to see dad at the cemetery - today would have been his birthday. Then to see the Fabulous Veronica for my massage, then to buy a new bike. Mine’s going on 12 years old, and it’s time.
Morning. I am caffeinated and getting ready for work.

I had a couple granola bars at work and got mildly reprimanded because I wasn’t working at the moment.

We’re having a day like that too, even though it’s snowing again.
I want bacon, but I don’t think I have any in the freezer, so instead I had a slice of raisin bread toast and am drinking a fruit smoothie. I had coffee a little while ago.
Soon my friend will be by to cut and colour my hair, so I can look awesome at the interview Thursday. Then we’re probably going out.

I slept till I was slept out, which was just lovely. And then I caffeinated, and now I’m still trying to persuade myself to get some work done. Thus far, no luck, but it’ll have to happen sooner rather than later since I have a regular job due Monday plus a rush job due Tuesday. Oh well, it’s a living, right?
<defensively> I dusted the living room! Jeesh–I’m getting to the rest of it.
Off to do more mundane housework. Blah.
Holy crap! I was taking a nap here at TVLand and suddenly I hear a strange voice. One of TVMan’s customers had come to pick up his set and was calling up the stairs looking for him. That was kind of scary. And I must have been sleeping soundly because up until that point I didn’t realize that anyone else was at the house.
I haven’t dusted yet… that always ends up being the last on the list, so it never gets done (things get picked up and put away and rearranged… but almost never dusted looks over at the book shelf maybe I should do that…).

Back from Trader Joe’s, finally. We were doing okay on the bus schedules up until the very last leg of the trip, and then we had to wait over an hour. And by the time the next bus came, it was -packed- because the bus before it never showed up. Turns out the driver got sick or something. And oh yes, I saw that legolamb there, and was going to get it. But somehow I was under the impression that the whole thing was only $5.99 (which I’ll admit did sound like a ridiculously low price!). Turns out to be the price per pound! LOL I had to put it back, but we will be back there next weekend and this time I’m getting it! I’ve decided to take a vacation day next Friday and do some of the shopping I need to do and just can’t do on the weekend. I’ll run to the Co-op and get some dried beans and grains there, then I’ll run over to Whole Foods and get some more stuffus there that I can’t get at the co-op and then next Saturday morning we’ll return to Trader Joe’s and get more goodies. I think I’ll probably get my cheese at the co-op or Whole Foods, though, because the selection is bigger (WF) and a little less expensive (co-op).
I was so cold by the time I got home that I actually heated up some of my morning coffee and am drinking that. I also fixed a grilled ham and cheese, using swiss cheese. On whole grain honey wheat bread, and boy was it good! We got some Tandoori spice naan bread at TJ’s, so I think we’re going to have Indian tonight. Yum!

Having a lazy Saturday. It is…:looks at clock:… 12:57 here and I am still in my jammies.
I have done 3 loads of laundry, put the towels away, cleaned the kitchen and mopped the floor so I don’t feel all bad. I scratched my stainless steel look fridge door moving a magnet - anyone know how to cover it up?
Need something to eat but not sure what I want. I am currently trying to start planning our wedding blessing in August. I like lists
