Beautiful Tris, that was a celebration of a good life. I just lost my dad a short while ago, but the memory of his powerful love for his immediate family and the history of his accomplishments was of great comfort to me as well.

Your mother sounds like a wonderful woman, and she was a fantastic mum because she brought you up to be the guy we know and love.
I’m sorry for your troubles. 
I’m so sorry for your loss, Tris; I know what it’s like to lose a parent (but not both!). You wrote beautifully about your mother. I know she’s thankful she had such a wonderful son!
And, how comforting to think of them together again, at last! Your mom sounds like she was a very interesting woman. Heaven’s a richer place now.
