If they are preaching to you, I can see, but when does offending a stranger become noble?

He said “fictional theme”. The Bible is fiction. It just happens to be based on what may or may not be a true story; there was absolutely nothing offensive about the comment, other than it being directed to people who weren’t talking to him.
Funny as hell, too.
As soon as I stop laughing I promise to tell you how evil and horrible you are.
Nah, seriously. It was rude, but not that rude. Go recite 20 “Braaaiins, braaains” for penance or something.
I’m curious, why isn’t it an acceptable substitute? They wanted to see ‘The Passion’ but got there late. So they went to see a different film. I fail to see what’s wrong with that.
I think you should feel bad about thinking about feeling bad. I’m not saying that all public, loud conversations should be open season, but if you’re going to say that **dawn of the dead ** was your back up for the passion of the christ , I think you are begging for commentary.
I just got an email from my friend who went to the movies with me. Among other things, he thanked me for the “best laugh he’s had all year.”
I don’t think I feel bad about it anymore.
