I enjoyed it. Earl seems to be getting back to its roots.
I also liked Randy’s singing. It’s nice they show him having the occasional real talent instead of being completely brain dead all the time.
It is not at all obvious to me Darnell wasn’t going to really kill Catalina. I don’t think we’re supposed to know, but someone like Darnell could have easily come up with some other solution. I was going to say we’ll probably never find out for sure since this was the season finale, but I checked and there are 27 episodes this season. That’s unusual. Three more to go.
