Great Episode. “I can’t have a Girlfriend, I’m Karma’s Bitch”
Great Music, Little Homage to my 2 favorite college Frat movies, Animal house & Revenge of the Nerds. (Tricycle race)
“This is like when that Hobbit Rudy first got on campus”
Okay, you guys forced me to the IMDB:
Looks like you missed your first opportunity, she was from Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA and Attended Allentown Central Catholic High School (Allentown, PA, USA). Practically a neighbor for you.
**Ethan Suplee ** as **Randy ** impresses me more each week, he can say more with a facial expression than almost any actor I can think of. He probably could have done silent films. He adds so many laughs.
“I really like drinking beer and riding tricycles but if anyone hots be with a paddle, I am going to have to put them down” leading to the scene I always wanted to hear about. Dumb frat shit turned around.
I thought he was just Lee’s buddy from the Kevin Smith movies. You know along for the ride. But he is really funny.
We’ve all wondered what town Earl lives in. It’s obvious that it’s filmed in the San Fernando Valley and other L.A. environs. But is his world really and truly “Anytown, U.S.A” or an actually defined location? Tonight we had a chance to find out: did anyone catch his address on the bee-themed postcard at the end? I didn’t record the episode; did anyone record it and do a freeze-frame on that?
As I said before I went to Frostburg State University so I was looking forward to seeing this one. Unfortunately the cable craped out when they got to FSU. I got to see Earl with the map, which was a real map, but right after that it cut out for a minute. I wanted to see what the campus looked like and if they said anything about any of the buildings. We did get the cable back after a minute or so.
I thought it was a good episode, I hope they go back to Frostburg more often.
As was pointed out to me in another thread, the show’s creater Greg Garcia went to Frostburg. They mentioned Hagerstown (also in Maryland) in the episode “Stole Beer From A Golfer.”
Greg Garcia also created and wrote for “Yes, Dear” and worked in lots of Maryland references in that show. One character wore a FSU shirt all the time.
It was good, but not as good as it could have been with more of the hotel maid character.
“Randy never thought he would find much satisfaction in watching a bunch of guys spank each other, but to his suprise he did.”
