Oops. I meant to start a new thread. Guess I’d better start paying attention. Sorry!
Huh? More, please?
Somebody else mentioned Christopher Masterson, although I haven’t seen any cites that he’s a Scientologist. But Isaac Hayes is.
Okay, to get this over with in one shot:
My Name Is Earl - Jason Lee (Earl)
Cheers - Kirstie Alley (Rebecca)
Dharma & Greg - Jenna Elfman (Dharma)
JAG - Catherine Bell (Mac)
The King of Queens - Leah Remini (Carrie)
Malcolm in the Middle - Christopher Masterson (Francis) cite
Muppet Babies - Jeffrey Scott (writer - who has said he put Scientology references in the show)
The Simpsons - Nancy Cartwright (the voice of Bart)
South Park - Isaac Hayes (Chef)
That 70’s Show - Danny Masterson (Hyde) and Laura Prepon (Donna)
The Waltons - Judy Norton-Taylor (Mary Ellen)
Welcome Back, Kotter - John Travolta (Barbarino)
I also skipped a number of other series that have Scientologists in the cast: CSI: Miami, Dawson’s Creek, Friends, Kim Possible, The Larry Sanders Show, Murphy Brown, The Mod Squad, Picket Fences, Punky Brewster, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Seinfeld, St Elsewhere, Veronica Mars, The West Wing, The Wonder Years, and The Young and the Restless.
Are you kidding? Lady, I’ve flown over them and 30,000 feet up is as close as I want to get.
Maybe she can talk the Lucifer League into going on a mission there so she gets to go, I don’t have to, and I get rid of her and the kids for a week. It worked when they went to El Paso. And it was lovely when just the kids went to DC, except they brought back some gargantuan cucarachas that we have not yet eradicated.
I don’t blame you. The spiders are huge, and the webs are strong enough to support a small child. ::shudder::
Hmmmm, maybe I should go, after all. I could bring back one of those spiders and clean up the cucarachas once and for all. Look out, bugs, there’s a new sheriff in town!
And a new Earl tonight competing with a new House and an old Nova. Around here it’s about baby mummies so Wife won’t want to watch it, saving some wear and tear on the VCRs. So, we watch House and tape *Earl * so she can watch it multiple times. Last week’s she watched four times. “I like how they don’t make fun of his lifestyle. They just show it.”
POLL TIME!
Who finds that Earl reminds them of their brother in law? (raising my hand)
Yeah, he’s pretty much the world’s brother in law.
He reminds me of everyone in my family except my brother-in-law – does that count for anything? (Yeah, my family is pretty trashy. Oh, the stories I could tell you guys …)
Actually, my brother-in-law is a giant nerd, and has a job testing video games for a video card company.
Just add an ongoing drug-addiction and that’s my brother-in-law to a “T”. Weird huh? Trashy ex-wife, dirty-looking, people are afraid of him, etc.
Can’t vote on that yet until I see Earl shoplifting or stuffing wild animals.
