So, I’m up, I’m showered, I’m getting dressed. Put on my new black pants, and realize they really are too short. I’ve tried the black socks, trying to see if maybe no one notices. That was obvious. Now, I have on the red striped ones, thinking, “If everyone’s going to notice anyway, I might as well show off my socks/trim little ankles”. I’m thinking they are still far too short. I may have to change to the navy blue pants. But I really don’t want to wear them.
Now, bear in mind that they have a huge hem that I can let down. They are Lands’ End pants that I got(brand new, actually) for $8, and I love the brushed cotton feel of them.
On top of that, I’m thinking of going commando. Guess I ought to tuck my blouse in and see if it’s wicked obvious. If so, then I’m changing pants, seeing as I don’t want to give lecherous co-worker boy anything else to leer over.(but that’s another story)
I have a really comfy pair of flowy pants that are a wee bit too short, and have no hem. But I like them! So I bravely soldier on with my dorky pants.
Usually my dress pants are too long, since I am vertically challenged. Considering that I don’t sew, this could be a problem were it not for the glory of chunky heeled boots.
Nearly all of my pants are too short. At five foot six, I really don’t think that I’m an unusually tall woman, so I don’t understand it.
It’s fine during spring/summer/early fall, since I usually wear sandals, but during winter it looks awful with my boots. Most of my socks are also white, so I wind up with a distinct Michael Jackson look.

I’m 6’5"/6’6" depending on who measures me. And I only weigh 218.
You try to find 30/38 pants anywhere in the world. Every pair I own are way too short.
I’ve tried Big and Tall, but the problem with them is that they cater to the Big and Tall. Not one or the other, so they have 34/38s but that’s as small as the waist goes, and I don’t wanna go all ghetto style with my pants sagging. I’m much too white for that.
