HBO is showing that piece of crap “documentary” from 2003 originally called The Curse of the Bambino. Now it’s called Reverse of the Curse of the Bambino. I’m watching stuff that’s killed me my whole life–the '78 playoff game, Wade Boggs on that goddamned horse in Yankee Stadium, Buckner, the 2003 ALCS and all the shit about Babe Ruth.
None of it bothers me AT ALL anymore. It’s all so damn quaint. Woo hoo!!!
P.S. No, I’m not concerned about Petey going to the Mets…
