Here’s the idea, the sound system on my computer is designed to turn off after 3 minutes when there is no noise, to save power.
Lots of times if the volume is too quiet, but still perfectly listenable it thinks that there is no sound and shuts them down.
Then I spend 10 seconds fiddling with the volume to make the computer realise its on again.
This is very annoying when listening to music, or playing games, where of course there is not a constant sound to flip the speakers on again, so while playing they turn off…
I’m pretty much wasting more power turning them on and off.
What can I do to stop this? The basic instructions that came with the speakers just said that it shuts off after 3 minutes, but never said how to turn the feature off.
Thoughts?
