When it comes to things which are simply true or not, no gray area, Billo is far and away the lyingest fuckwad. Lies as a matter of course, constantly. Olbermann? Not so much.

Apparantly not, since that wasn’t my point at all. My point was that Clinton’s impeachment was not at all justified. In my opinion, yours, and many other people’s. Yet he was impeached. This leads one to the conclusion that what constitutes impeachable offenses is, in fact, subject to some degree of opinion, not unlike many other matters of law and the interpretation of same.
Well, when your statement about Olbermann being a liar is backed up by some kind of evidence, you might have a point here. Until then, you are just making ugly noises without any information at all.

Did you look at it at all? I just did a Google search of “Olbermann + lies” and it came up. And while I think that 75% of it is hopeful word-twisting interpretation, and yes, it’s partisan hackery, there’s some truth there (check out his feud with John Gibson). Weirddave is absolutely right when it comes to your hypocrisy here.
It’s all moot; show’s probably over by now. And while I’m not a fan of O’Reilly in the least, I have no desire to have someone go on his show with the express intent of disrupting it, just as I was disgusted by the idiot in Florida doing his best to disrupt a Kerry appearance. What a jack-holish thing to do.

I did the same search. After that site, it’s pretty much all links to Olbermann taking about other people’s lies. Vs. Billo + lies, which gets almost 2 million hits, and appears from the beginning to be a whole bunch of different people taking about Billo’s many, many lies.
Therefore, calling them equal is…well, it’s just flat out bullshit.
Please try again. She was invited. The goal: to tell so much truth that Billo will react in the seriously assholish way he always reacts when he can’t deal with the sense being spoken to him: calls for the mic to be cut. That is in no way related to anyone trying to “disrupt” anything.
The clearest recent examples of O’Reilly’s dishonesty are his protracted jaunts against Media Matters and Daily Kos. He has said many things about both sites that are outright lies, on top of continually misrepresenting their content.
As much as it pains the “pox on both their houses” crowd, there is no comparison between Olbermann and O’Reilly when it comes to misinformation. O’Reilly simply doesn’t care if what he’s saying is true or not.
So…goalpost change. That’s cool. Now we all know where you’re coming from.

I completely disagree. The goal was to best O’Reilly. That goal (best the host) played out on any other show would not result in anything like “disruption”- but on Billo’s show, when he’s bested he whines like a child and screams to have the mic shut off as though some maniac is screaming filth into it. And in every case I’ve seen it done, no such thing was happening. What was happening was that the person with the mic wasn’t letting themselves get bullied by his bullshit.
Billo “disrupts” his own show by acting like a brat and a bully, and what provokes him to that behavior is not behaving badly, it’s being articulate, intelligent, and armed with facts that he can’t refute. How disruptive :rolleyes: .

The assertion was that they were two sides of the same coin, and honesty was lumped in as a measure of that. that a billohead has put up a site whining as much about Olbermann as Billo himself does does not qualify as proof of that by any stretch of the most vivid imagination.
