This is not as “out there” as some people may think. I honestly think the guy has a urinary tract infection. Those can do dreadful things to the mentation of a senior citizen, with few or no other symptoms.
I don’t want him elected, UTI or not, but if he’s sick, he needs to be treated, with the proper drugs, etc. and not hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin, which are not cure-alls either.
UTIs are known for turning people into narcissistic, racist, homophobic, xenophobic, hateful, and rambling morons? If so, are there any preventative tips because that sounds like a horrible side effect!
I don’t think so Tim. ( ToolTime) I had a lot of uti’s last year.
The only symptoms are feeling like you have to pee all the time.
Theres no confusion, exhaustion, or dancing in place.
UTIs can cause sudden confusion (also known as delirium) in older people and people with dementia. If the person has a sudden and unexplained change in their behaviour, such as increased confusion, agitation, or withdrawal, this may be because of a UTI.
He’s always referencing Al Capone, who also suffered from, and ultimately died from, the effects of syphilis. Big Al also retired to Florida before he croaked.
Exactly. Nothing sudden about his behavior. Yes, his world salad has got more salad’y, but the narcissistic, racist, homophobic, xenophobic, hateful and rambling moronic stuff has always been there. Remember when the press, way back in 2016 used to breathlessly say “this is the day he starts acting presidentially”? And then the same thing in 2017, 18, 19…
Despite promises, Trump never released his tax returns or his medical records. He did allude to fight with STDs in an interview with Howard Stern some years back. Most 78 year old males have a range of medical issues, never mind those with bad diets and physical activity limited to golf.
There are rumors that Fox and Friends laid down a black sheet for him to sit on, which would hide any physical remains Trump might leave behind. These are apparently false:
That is misinformation of the worst sort. Maybe YOUR symptoms were limited to urgency. Lucky you. That does not mean that:
males (you are female, correct?)
old people (you aren’t over 70, are you?) folks slipping into dementia (you haven’t needed a cognitive test, have you?)
people in general who don’t happen to have an identical physiological response to yours (can you actually claim that what YOU experience is identical to the whole world?)
Sudden changes in behaviors and an increase in symptoms may indicate that your loved one has a UTI. Behavior changes and causes that seem to affect one’s personality may include sleeping issues, anxiety, depression, confusion, aggression, delusions, hallucinations and paranoia.
I could say more, but I’ll stop there. The point is, you are one isolated data point. You cannot extrapolate to the whole world from that. By all means, read up on UTIs and their effects, then cogently post an opinion. But just “oh, I had UTIs and they didn’t cause the same symptoms” is irrelevant.
Whatever illnesses mental or physical he has he’s surely overtired and under stress. Some of the worst kinda stress, plus travel.
Can’t be good for an older fat man.
It will all crash down on him. Probably sooner than you could ever make him believe.
Exactly. In the past two years, we’ve dealt with this exact situation, with both my mother, and my now-late stepfather-in-law, both of whom are/were in their 80s, and the latter of whom had already been suffering from some dementia prior to the UTI. In both cases, they started acting extremely different mentally, including agitation, and in both cases, once the UTI was diagnosed and treated, they pretty rapidly returned to their prior mental levels.
Exactly! For an old fat fuck like him, DROP THE FUCK OUT! Old people shouldn’t be trying to lead the largest economy in the world. He is past the normal retirement age, plus he is supposedly a billionaire and doesn’t need the money. Go golf, like all the other old rich guys.
My mother died from sepsis caused by an undiagnosed UTI. UTI’s are hellish for younger people, but they often don’t cause pain in the elderly. Had my mother had pain, she would have sought treatment, and we’d have had her longer. The only real symptom was what appeared to be dementia, which only started after she’d contracted the UTI, we now know.
