Now any idiot with a phone (or any hundreds of idiots) can film something and livestream it. Governments announce policy on X/Twitter, FFS. We’re continuously awash in “well-known” facts as well as lies with no time or competent guidance to sort them out.
Nothing about that added up, but then again, since when has anything associated with him done so?

Vegas tells everybody who visits that they are going to win. Most don’t. That’s its entire business plan.
If any of Trump’s issues had suddenly emerged, i might think this was a possibility. (Although I’d like to mention that sudden and unexpected cognitive changes are a symptom of many health disorders in the elderly.) But none of it is sudden. 8 years ago he seemed to have declined mentally from his peak. A friend pointed out that his older speeches used a wider vocabulary and were more coherent. And he’s certainly declined in the past 8 years. But that’s common at his age.
Personally, i think Harris’s health report verges on oversharing. I don’t feel i need to know that she has seasonal allergies and had surgery when she was three. But maybe she felt it was best to get it out there.
Honestly, if she were 38, i would care, because I’d worry that she might decide it was more important to have kids than to be a better president or something. It would certainly be an issue with asking a childless woman of childbearing age. But she just turned 60. I’m completely indifferent.
To be honest, what surprised me in Kamala Harris’ health report was that she has allergic conjunctivitis, as I didn’t know that pink eye could be caused by allergies.
It’s not really pink eye. It just means her eyes get irritated by pollen.

Yeah, “itis” means “inflammation of”. You can get inflammation from a bacterial infection, a viral infection, allergies, or mechanical irritation. Probably other stuff, too.
