About an hour ago, I started a thread in IMHO about root canal treatment, so nothing contentious, and it seems to have vanished. It had had some replies. I can’t see it in IMHO, and I did a search for threads started by me, and nothing there either.
What gives?
Ok. It’s back again. Obviously a mechanical glitch - which I’ve been getting very frequently recently.

Yeah, the updating function went seriously wonky for an hour or so – seems to be working now though.
For a moment, I had visions of the mods thumbing through the rule book. “Hmm…dentistry. Page 3202, subsection 12, paragraph 6…ah - there it is: ‘all talk of dentistry is prohibited’. Got him!” And with a click of his fingers, off my thread went.
The reality’s a bit boring in comparison.
I’m* seriously* dental phobic, so I’d be okay with outlawing discussions of anesthesia-free root canals. shudder

Ah, but the thrust of my thread was that I didn’t have any pain meds.
