My To-Do list this weekend

With 4 and a half days of complete free time this weekend, I need to make sure that I don’t just fritter it away like the rest of my life. I’m making a “To Do” list for Thanksgiving weekend. Hopefully, I might actually get some of these done rather than just sleep in every single day. I figure posting this could help encourage me to actually do it.

  1. Go to my old high school Wednesday afternoon. Say hi to my chess coach before school lets out. Express condolences on the loss of his house (it burned down).

  2. Call up really cute girl who promised to see Unbreakable with me and invite her to go see Unbreakable.

  3. Finish critique of next short story submission in writing group I’m in.

  4. Go clothes shopping (god I hate shopping).

  5. Finish “Fortress in the Eye of Time.”

  6. Schmooze with family members on Thanksgiving, trying my best to smile as they ask me questions I don’t want to answer.

  7. Start writing my short story for my turn at submission.

  8. Give blood (I’ve done it 16 times already, but none in the last year which I’m quite embarrased about).

  9. Reluctantly go to this “singles” shindig that my mom is begging me to attend on Saturday.

  10. Search for a new job that pays well.

So what’s your To-Do list this weekend?

  1. eat lots of stuff on thurs.
  2. go to the movies on friday.
  3. shop for stuff on saturday.
  4. catch up on reading sunday.
  5. do laundry sometime this weekend.
  6. finish craft presents for christmas.
