With 4 and a half days of complete free time this weekend, I need to make sure that I don’t just fritter it away like the rest of my life. I’m making a “To Do” list for Thanksgiving weekend. Hopefully, I might actually get some of these done rather than just sleep in every single day. I figure posting this could help encourage me to actually do it.
-
Go to my old high school Wednesday afternoon. Say hi to my chess coach before school lets out. Express condolences on the loss of his house (it burned down).
-
Call up really cute girl who promised to see Unbreakable with me and invite her to go see Unbreakable.
-
Finish critique of next short story submission in writing group I’m in.
-
Go clothes shopping (god I hate shopping).
-
Finish “Fortress in the Eye of Time.”
-
Schmooze with family members on Thanksgiving, trying my best to smile as they ask me questions I don’t want to answer.
-
Start writing my short story for my turn at submission.
-
Give blood (I’ve done it 16 times already, but none in the last year which I’m quite embarrased about).
-
Reluctantly go to this “singles” shindig that my mom is begging me to attend on Saturday.
-
Search for a new job that pays well.
So what’s your To-Do list this weekend?
