My touch pad quit working. (kind of)

I have a Dell lap top with windows 7 OS.

When I turn my computer on, at the log on screen, the pad works fine. But after I log in, the pointer just stays “stuck”. Thankfully, I was able to plug in my USB mouse and it works.

Any ideas on how I can fix this?

sounds like a driver issue of some sort. Can you uninstall the touchpad driver or software?

Wow. That was easy. I uninstalled it. Then the computer reinstalled it after I rebooted the computer. Every thing works fine now. Thanks!
