Email more than one admin. They’ll decide amongst themselves who’ll do the change (this may sometimes involve sacrificing a pigeon or two and examining the entrails and/or other eldritch rituals unsuitable for more sensitive viewers).
I think all of the admins are TubaDiva, Arnold Winkelreid, C K Dexter Haven, Gaudere, and Lynn Bodoni (Lynn’s in the hospital and out of commission at the moment, so don’t email her). Ed Zotti’s also an admin, but don’t email him because he never gets involved with routine stuff like this. Apologies if I left anyone out.

There are actually a lot of admins who never get involved with routine stuff. Cecil Adams’ official title is “Perfect Master”, but he has admin rights. But of course, this sort of thing is even further beneath him than it is Zotti. And there are numerous members of the Reader staff who’re admins (jdavis, the tech god, is the most prominent of these), but most of them hardly ever post, much less administrate.
Once you’ce decided on a new name and had the name change take effect, please post in The Official Record of Name Changes Thread. That way, we don’t have to wonder where Flowerchild has gone.
