My version of fantasy football 2011: One player, one play: Plax.

So now things get interesting. Plaxico Burris signs with the Jets (not the Giants) but he still plays his home games in the Meadowlands.

He’s a nitwit that spent 21 months in jail for doing something totally stupid (shooting himself) but he didn’t injure or assault anyone else. He did something idiotic and wrong but was a first time offender and, because of name, fame and political meddling he was used as an example. That was all interesting because he was not outspoken, didn’t challenge the establishment and there weren’t many gang-bangers running around in Burris jerseys.

I would just love it if Plax were to succeed with the Jets, who have a legitimate chance to make it to the SB. It would be perfect if he were to catch a pass that sealed a win for the Jets in the SB.

Then maybe justice would be done. That’s my idea of “fantasy” football.
And hey, have any charges been filed against that Arizona congressshit that aimed a loaded pistol without a safety at a reporter? Until that happens don’t lecture us on how terrible Plax’s crime was.

He’s 34 years old and hasn’t played football in ~4 years. Good luck with that.

He discharged a pistol in a crowded nightclub, it’s not like he shot himself while cleaning his gun in his basement. It was nothing more than dumb luck that prevented him from killing a random bystander. He’s paid his debt, and I wish him the best, though I don’t think “justice” requires that he have some wonderful moment, he’s not a victim of anything but his own bad decision.

To be fair, he did give the world the phrase “sweatpants holster”, which more than makes up for it.

And has been sitting in prison during that time. Go see Jamal Lewis’s career for comps on what that does for your fitness and nutrition.

Pocket carry of a Glock is pretty much Darwin in action. Along with Cheesesteak, thank God he didn’t shoot anybody else.
