and no one has rang our bell yet. I feel bad. She went all out. Fog machine. Life-size mummy and witch with glowees and sound, spiders, tombstones, and whatnot. Problem is this is our fist Halloween here, and we live in a smallish neighborhood out in the sticks. All the houses are well off the street and hidden by trees. The privacy is great most of the time, but not conducive to trick or treating.
That’s too bad.
Post some pics, we’ll ooh and aah.
I would love to oooohhhhh and ahhhhhhh!
I’ve been told I’m really good at it! I can’t wait to see the pics.
Hang on!
Ok, I’m new to Flickr, but here it goes:

and my little guy… cause I couldn’t resist
Awww…Superbaby is adorable.
Oooh! Aaah!
Seriously – very cool!
And your son is adorable!
Thanks. You guys are the best.
Ditto what they said. I love the spider looming on the lintel.
Damn, brother. Start eating grits, and you’ll practically be a native.
That look fantastic, Southern Yankee!
You tell your wife that she did a great job with decorating, and those people that didn’t show up at your door are just SOL, because they missed a REAL treat!
I do love me some grits. But are you saying it’s not an uncommon situation? Because in our last neighborhood (in Charlotte) Halloween was HUGE. The whole neighborhood was out and about and it was awesome. We’re in Union County now and the houses are much further apart. We barely ever see our neighbors.
I sure will. I brought her home some flowers after work tonight to tell her how much I loved the fact she went all out for the kids like that.
Oh, no. I was commenting on your very Southern conjugation of the verb to ring.
You’ve gone native, Southern Yankee. Must be all that clean air out in Union Co.
Ok, you just made me snort. Guess I’m gettin’ comfy down here.
Whoa, I’m calling your wife to decorate my house/barn next year. Excellent job!
And Superbaby is adorable!
Wow! She did a great job with the decorations. I love the pile of bones in the grave yard.
I have to agree with twickster about superbaby…He is adorable!
She definitely deserves a really big
OOOHHHHHHHHH
AAAHHHHHHHHH
They’re right, you ARE good at that!
Nice job. I like the shroud on the mummy, nice touch.
You know, I’m not all that into halloween, and clearly an adult, but I’d LOVE to trick or treat there! Great job… all the right stuff!
