So, what was to be a simple induction started at Midnight - at 5am, more meds. By 1pm, doctor was worried and ordered epidural for 3pm. That gave him a chance to poke around a bit more, at 4-20 he found the umbilical cord was getting ahead of itself, so conducted emergency Caesarean. By 4:44 pm CAT, my daughter was born. MrsDibble and MsDibblette are both fine - she was suckling within 10 mins of being wheeled out of theatre. I’m home, going to get some Zzz’s then back to hospital in the morning. Not going to be 'Doping for a while I expect.
She has my hair and her mother’s complexion. I love my wife, she was soooo brave and strong as things got more and more complicated. I love my daughter, she’s absolutely perfect. I sleep soon…
