I finally signed up for MySpace because I wanted to contact an artist I met in New Orleans. So now I have this page, and it’s boring. I think they call it the ‘classic view’. What if I want to change the background and text colours, say from white to black and black to white respectively? (Right now the middle is white and the borders are light grey.) I looked on the FAQ and read this:

[ul][li]Simply go to “Edit Profile”[/li][li]Enter the desired HTML or CSS coding where appropriate.[/li][li]If you do not know HTML or CSS, you can reach out and make a new friend by asking someone who has color, graphics, and/or sound on their Profile page how they did it. People on MySpace are friendly and always willing to help, so just ask! This is a great way to meet new people![/ul][/li][/quote]
I went to Edit Profile and there are the boxes that you fill in to talk about yourself. I could probably figure out the code by looking at other webpages and copying the code (unless someone wants to post it here). But what about the borders? They seem to be ‘non-typing areas’.
I did try Page Themes to make it more interesting. I can preview, but I don’t see where to save it. If I get out of preview, it goes back to the ‘classic view’. (I’m on a Mac running OS X.)
