When I saw the spelling one of my favorite novels immediately came to mind (I even thought of making a personal allusion to it, but didn’t want to get too personal.) Yet Googling just now I see that the English translation of The Master and Margarita uses the ordinary spelling. :dubious:

I would personally love it if everyone unvoted and we started this thing from scratch, and the only 5 candidates for lynch would be TexCat, Gnarlycharlie, DanceCat, Blaster, and Silver Jan.

Of those:

1. DanceCat (seemed to be spared via voting)

2. Silver Jan (was voted by DanceCat and Blaster)
3. TexCat (the more suspicious of the two masons, IMO)
4. Gnarlycharlie (cleared via being the one guilty result out of 5 results, has others corroborating this story)

Here’s a new thought: How do you know the poisoner is even TOWN? To me “poisoner” sounds like a very negative, shady sort of role. Maybe it’s a scum or third party role.

If I am the poisoner, the poisoner is absolutely 100% townie.

I’ll make myself die on purpose if necessary; I can poison myself if need be. If I can deduce that I am the poisoner, then I will be the vigilante.

If I’m not the poisoner, then the poisoner is still not mafia for targeting Mahaloth, it could only be townie or 3rd party. Yeah yeah gambits I don’t think so.

after playing in this longer format for just a couple game days, i’ve found it easy to adjust to the slower pace and might actually prefer it. it’s nice to be able to read the thread after work, catch up on things, and know that in the unlikely event that I have a relevant thought I can actually post it.

Count me as a fan of the long cycle. We used to do a one week day night cycle here, makes it more of a game than a second job. It is good that we have a range across the several boards, from the speed mafia to the more genteel paced games, something for everyone and all that.
