If you’re naive and wrong about naf, there’s the possibility that you’re kept alive. There’s no better nightkill target out there than the seers so they really can’t let you live.

We can wait until the next day and if you flip villager then we can either lockclear naf (if you’re a true seer) or do some more digging if you’re a naive seer.

If you aren’t nightkilled we’re going to be in a tough spot because you may be naive (thus your NAF peek was wrong so the wolves don’t want to resolve you) or even a wolf, though I think the latter is unlikely.

But of course with all the mechanics in play you could be kept alive by roleblockers or doctors…

Look, as a seer in a closed game, I have to die. Let me clear folks for a while, if I live–if I hit a wolf and get a wolf result, then you know I’m good. If I don’t, then, kill me a few rounds before Lynch-or-Lose–we have an advantage in that a scum PIS slip let us know exactly how many scum are left.

Obviously I can do just that. I was tunnelling and then got angry after I started to become a wagon, slept on it and reread. I’ve already said above that we can obv wait until zeriel is resolved before resolving you.

In my limited experience Detectives are protected and believed until counter claimed or proven wrong. In this game it is different of course since many don’t know what they do do yet. Still I would not advocate the death of a claimed seer just to “see”

BTW, since nobody has come forward with a case for healing me toNight (and they probably shouldn’t as only my role and not my alignment is known), I can point to a couple of things to try to convince you I’m Town.

1. I have been active in making cases (some of them wrong, of course, but that’s going to happen) all game. I have supported all my votes, save one, with adequate evidence.

2. The one I went more on hunch with was BlaM, and I was an integral late vote on his wagon when Scum was trying to shift it the other way. I also agreed with BlaM vocally in the thread with his case on Ben, which was based on a post I’d made the previous Day. This caused Ben to lean Town on me, especially after he and I had an exchange when I thought I might have been the doubler. Anyway, I wouldn’t have practically gobbled BlaM’s knob in the thread if we were both Scum.

3. I am a player whose power is known to her (thanks, Idle!) and I will be using it against people I believe to be Scummy for the rest of the game. Last Night I used it on Lightfoot, who I believed to be a non-Town killer (my guess was third party) and Episkey, who I’ve voted for for two Days. I will be very transparent about targeting people I believe to be Scum, and will report my targets to the thread the following Day.

4. I will likely not be a high NK priority for the Scum at this time. They know they might be able to get a mislynch on me based on Idle’s reveal (I’m actually kind of surprised nobody’s tried), and there are currently higher-priority targets out there for them to off at Night. But even if they get me mislynched, I doubt they can do it anytime soon–there are better targets for lynching now too. If I die at night due to not being healed, you’re giving up on what would likely be several Days of an active, vocal Town player.

In the end, nothing I say can prove I’m Town, although hopefully Episkey will come up Scum and be another major point in my favor. You’re going to have to go with your gut. Hopefully this helped.

This helps. So the idea is that two different people both messaged pizza guy about two different players both being wolves, or that special ed targeted the messenger who got to send two X = wolf messages? Who did special ed target the night before?

Also “Insane detective whisperer” is unlikely to be a role. Insane detective, yes. Whisperer, yes. I don’t think it’s very likely he has both of those powers unless there’s something I’m missing. The other two messengers to die (one wolf, one villa iirc) sent messages about themselves (one true, one false). I don’t think any roles have came up where the messenger sent results based on the senders own peeking mechanic. That sounds like a bit much imo.

I targeted Scuba Ben as I stated a long time ago.

However, I’m not suggesting that this is why our dead poisoner got these 2 results whispered to him.

And the mystics, as described, whisper their results to people. Couldn’t some of those been redirected?

Of course, with the potential of a Scum role blocker out there, the point might be moot. It would probably be silly of them to aim at my healer when there are two claimed cops in the thread, but stranger things have happened.

What a game, this is all way over my head with all the false results and mimics and redirectors, shooooo…

I can believe that** CQ** is Town just because of the way he is fighting for his case on NAF, however I don’t think that I can believe in his case. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if NAF is Town. I don’t know what to think about** Zeriel** but I don’t think we should lynch some one that thinks (knows?) he is a detective, insane or not.

I do think though that with the NAF/Episkey conundrum that one of them is a wolf so I am keeping my vote on** Episkey**.

As a show of support, I’ll target you if you wish, but none of my targets have reported healthy sensations. Based on my lack of results, I think I’m either LightFoot-1.0’s lost Mason buddy or else my role is something like:

But the first post of yours I quoted had you offering the fact that you and lilflower were doubled was evidence that Drain Bead could be lying about having been doubled herself. No confusion about a possible redirect from lilflower to Drain Bead, just a flat out statement of facts you had no way of knowing? That seems oddly…trusting, doesn’t it?

That “oddly…trusting” is pinging me out the wazoo. If you want to argue that I’m displaying PIS about lilflower’s doubling, say so, don’t leave it dangling out there like a turd.

A redirect from lilflower (as NAF’s target) to Drain Bead (as NAF’s target) doesn’t work, by the way. Even if such a redirect is possible in this game, it should logically have removed the doubling from me as well, and I was doubled. I’m not even going to get into the complexity it induces on other fronts, none of which are worth considering unless NAF is scum.

So explain again why my failing to consider this scenario is scummy.

Finally, that quote wasn’t remotely “evidence that Drain Bead could by lying”, either. But whatever, that’s the least of it.

Clearly the optimal plan imo. Though I think theres zero chance Zurviel comes out as a wolf with that, and he has no reason to lie as a villager, so I’m taking them both as villas.

You don’t know Zeriel very well, do you?

God forbid this put me in the shit wagon along with crackedquads, but I do think it’s possible that Zeriel is lying on NAF’s behalf. His results otherwise are meaningless and his timing convenient for a scum partner as well as for town. I don’t think that scum have much luxury to play safe under the circumstances, so why NOT pull out something like this?

Perversely this makes me more suspicious of you, not less. The scum motive for this is pretty damn clear, why completely discount it?
