Mystery Mafia -- Game Thread

So lollllllllllllll at me surviving the lynch. A+ to whoever did that. Guess we can confirm day angels now. Gad was sure to specify that day angels weren’t excluded in his discussion with pwnsall(?) a couple days ago. I can’t imagine that whoever targeted me n4 knew they were an angel though bc I don’t recall in being any danger whatsoever that day.

So…

I want to know why J.D. felt it was so obvious that he could pop in, drop a vote with (almost) no comment, and then disappear again. He hasn’t seen fit to contribute very much to the game so far, and this vote seems like an effort aimed mainly at placing an ‘obvious’ vote so that he doesn’t need to take time to actually *do *anything.

we can hope

That’s a much more specific question that I’m not qualified to answer.

Which is why I wasn’t asking you

Well, it did appear that you were just asking why the vote was obvious.

Well, I don’t mind you (or anyone else) answering, but I was looking for one opinion in particular.

I was roleblocked also.

I infer from the overNight results that the bad guys have a Strongman remaining. Unless a known/probable Townie can provide a good reason for shooting pwnsall?

And it’s inanely obvious that Zeriel had an accurate read on NAF, barring a gastard Scum role. So I clear NAF.

Pending further review, vote Episkey:
(Insert repetition of PizzaGuy’s two messages here.)
3. We know now that Zeriel’s report supercedes PizzaGuy’s message.
Tf. Either my message was about NAF and tampered with, my message was about Episkey and tampered with (both unlikely IMO ATM), or my message was about Episkey and accurate.

And I’ll have to review the case on crackedquads.

There still may be a Redirector in play, so that could explain it as well.

Suburban: Good point.

Now that I’ve caught up, I see Drain Bead had the same reasoning as I did. And probably a few others as well.

That’s all you have to say?

No comment on your lock on NAF as Scum?

I don’t think the fact that cracked survived the lynch has any bearing on whether or not he’s Town, Scum, or Chia Bingo Master. It was almost certainly the result of someone using their power on him. And that person was almost certainly unsure of what their power was until cracked showed up alive. So the fact that someone used that power on cracked means little. Did anyone claim to target cracked Night before last?

Naf is still alive isn’t he? His results could have been flipped by some mechanic, maybe the role reveal wasn’t complete, or most likely I was just wrong. I dropped my case after zeriel made his claim.

iirc like 3 people targeted me n3, I don’t recall anyone claiming to have targeted me n4. Don’t know why they would claim as much though if they didn’t know their power yet. So if we have a list of people who haven’t made claims yet, there’s at least an angel among them. Careful though because wolves are prob more likely to not claim anything than villagers.

And if I wasn’t angeled I’m definitely the Chia Bingo Master.

For a moment I parsed that as “… wasn’t angled.” But my visual processing is sometimes obtuse.

Otherwise, nothing to add at present.

I really don’t under fucking stand how if NAF is a villager I become the main wagon last night. It’s just retarded villaging. If you really believe zeriels claim then you need to lynch episkey instead of NAF, not me.

But then again that’s assuming episkey is a villager. If epi is a wolf I guess that would make sense.

Episkey

which would make him vulnerable toDay. (can’t target the same person twice in a row)

But I guess I would wonder how said wolf would know what their power was for sure until getting a result from it, which didn’t happen until yesterDay.

I suppose they could have gotten an investigation result, but I know it wasn’t from Idle, seeing as he reported both me and NAF correctly in the thread. It would have to have been from the Scum Mystic, I guess.

Possible, but it seems like a longshot. We’d have to surmise 3 things. First, that the Day Angel is Scum. Second, that they knew what they were. And third, that they chose to protect cracked rather than someone who actually seemed to be in danger.

The wagon on cracked seemed to come out of absolute nowhere, didn’t it?

BTW, I know now that my target was not the Scum or Town Roleblocker.
