Scathach, that’s interesting. Idle had claimed septimus as a cop. Did septimus previously claim anything? Or was Idle scamming us even more by that point? And I don’t conclude anything from what Idle said about Drain Bead.
LF v2, thanks for catching my oversight on LF v1. And we haven’t conclusively determined what safe, warm glow, or healthy feelings mean. Although “safe” probably means a Doc/Angel providing protection.
Sheesh. We’re going to have a hard time figuring this all out. So we better hunt down some Wolves and PFK third parties.
@Gad: Serves you right for running a game with too many Days.
True. So Inner Stickler should have had targets on both Nights 1 and 2. I think Night 1 for sure and possibly for Night 2 assuming kills are processed last (which I think Gad has said before). He also blocked his target.
I’ve been looking through the various claims and actions, and came across something that might be significant:
Astral Rejection and **Weedy **were Mystics. each of them learned the full role of the other’s target.
Astral never told us anything about his targets of any information he received, so we get no information from one side of the equation. On the other side, Weedy never told us any of his targets, but he did give us some results.
Night 1, Weedy received Texcat’s PM, meaning Astral targeted TexCat.
Night 2, Weedy received no message (Post 3354)
Night 3, Weedy received ‘no apparent result’ (Post 4147)
The lack of results for Weedy on Nights 2 and 3 imply that Astral was blocked or otherwise prevented from gathering any information on those Nights. I haven’t figured out yet how that information helps us, but assuming there is a Roleblocker somewhere, they appear to have targeted Astral one of those Nights. Probably Astral was blocked on Night 2, since there was no result at all, and Night 3’s ‘no apparent result’ is indicative of ‘something else’.
What **Idle **said was “The other (message) informed me that, apparently, Drain Bead is a reflector, and a Villager.” (Post 3721).
He doesn’t make it clear whether or not he received a full PM, or if he just received role and alignment info. What we can make of that at this point, I don’t know. the actions we’ve seen so far are consistent with** Drain Bead** being a Reflector, but that doesn’t necessarily mean she’s a Villager.
"…The other informed me that, apparently, Drain Bead is a reflector, and a Villager.
What she does is selects a target each night. Her target’s night action for that night will be redirected back to her target. And she wins when all the threats to Town have been eliminated. "
What, you expect me to read everything I quote?!? sheesh!
(we really need an ‘embarrased’ smiley)
That does make it appear that **Idle **had **Drain’s **full PM. **PCM **is the only other person who claims to have received a PM that was not theirs. Both of those occurred on Night 2.
Ed received his PM on Night 2 as well.
**Normal **received her PM on Night 4, and I received my PM on Night 5. Nobody claimed to have received anyone’s role on Nights 1 or 3, and nobody has received another player’s PM on any Night but Night 2.
This makes Idle’s and PCM’s claims look suspicious, and throws doubts onto Drain’s alignment as well.
PCM, claimed to receive a PM saying that he was a role, that wasn’t corresponding with his previous night actions, no? (Genuine question, I can’t find the post)
A couple other things that I’ve recetnly ‘rediscovered’: Krayz’ ability was to delay his target’s Night action until the following Night. He targeted someone on Night 1, so we should be ‘missing’ on action from Night 1 but have one ‘extra’ action on Night 2.
The only ‘duplicate actions’ I see on Night 2 are:
J.D. claims to have been redirected, and **Suburban **claimed that **LightFoot **was redirected. Idle, PCM, and **Ed **all claim to have received Role PMs
Inner Stickler was a Beat Cop. he investigated his target, and blocked the target from carrying out or being the victim of any killing actions. So his action did not amount to a complete roleblock, but only under certain circumstances.
It is possible he targeted crackedquads or special ed on Night 1, which would have blocked cq’s kill there. He also had a target on Night 2, but there don’t seem to be any ‘missing’ kills that Night.
He first mentions receiving a Role PM in Post 2754:
“Last night I was told I had a role (x) and an alignment (town).
However that role as described is not consistent with the results I received the night before. In addition I also recieved a result last nigh that was consistent with the prior nights result. So it appears I was told someone elses role and alignment, but it had my name at the begining.”
“As we have the self confessed poisoner out there I will add
The role that was revealed to me (that isnt mine even though it said it was me) is the Apothcary. They can heal or prevent someone being poisoned.”
Yes, but she also said at the time that it wasn’t inconsistent with her results to that point, and I think subsequent events support the idea that she is in fact a Roleblocker. But I’m not 100% certain at this point.
Crackedquads is sounding more and more scummy and even if he is 3rd Party he isn’t doing Town any good, killing a semi-confirmed Townie in a “rage” and then confessing to it is so anti-Town that he needs to die. I can’t see any advantage to having him around if he is just going to kill off villagers on a whim.
Epsikey is the next best choice, I cant figure any reason ask would get two wolf results without one being true.
I do not like everyone claiming who they targeted, the wolves certainly know more of their roles than we do, it allows them to POE their targets to maximize effectiveness and confusion.
I am going to share one thing though, I lied about my action being re-directed. I did it so I would have the maximum amount of time to try and figure out what my role it.
I do believe I know what it is from seeing what others are saying, but not sure.
