Breaking spreadsheets and lying is not a pro-town maneuver in such a game. IMO

I’d like to add to that the fact that his admission is the most significant contribution that he has made to the game so far.

I’m not sure who first brought up the Day Angel idea, but it was done as an explanation for how **crackedquads **survived yesterDay’s lynch. cq has since claimed that he survived the lynch because he was (and according to him, still is) immune to kills.

So cq is either telling the truth, or he’s lying. If he’s telling the truth, then there’s no reason to believe a Day Angel exists. If he’s lying, then the only reasonable reason is that he’s Scum, and he needed to make up the lie for some reason. Why would Scum made up such a story, when we all know the natural reaction is going to be “You say we can’t kill you? Well, let’s just find out now, why don’t we”? The only thing I can come up with is that he’s trying to deflect attention away from Episkey.

I’m not sure whether I believe cq is Scum or 3rd-party. What I am pretty sure of is that he’s not going to be able to survive 2 Lynches, and what I am absolutely sure of is that he needs to die. So I don’t have a problem with his lynch Today, but I’m leaving my vote on Episkey, who I am very certain is Scum. My vote is not needed for the lynch at this point in any case; if it were, then I’d have a more difficult decision to make.

Also, I think that Day Angel violates the ‘no abilities that don’t relate directly to Night actions’ rule.

Didn’t we already have a dleayer? Didn t that Night action impact things in teh future?

Didn’t we already have a poisoner? Didn’t that Night Action impact play the next Day?

Doesn’t my power impact a person the following Night?

Aren’t 3 examples enough to allow you to consider that maybe Night action impact things that happen after that night is over?

As LighterFeet says, it’s just as easy to type duh, but ldo has its own insouciant charm.

I don’t think there’s much to get.

I think it started on the other board when one of the more prolific posters, instead of saying “ldo,” said “ldonuts.” Then he shortened it to “donuts.” Then everyone started doing it because, deep down, we all want to be cool. It was pretty well-established by the time I came along.

crackedquads has been lynched.

crackedquads, you are a Serial Killer. Each night beginning Night One, you select a target to kill. You are a Neutral. You win by being alive at the end of the game. In furtherance of this goal, you are able to survive one attempt on your life. You cannot be peeked; attempts to peek you return the message “No apparent result.”

NOTE:

crackedquads’s ability to survive one kill and his resistance to peeks are not, strictly speaking, within the general bounds of the framework set up in the OP. I hope players do not consider this unreasonably gastardly. The role was put in for balance and would otherwise have been exceedingly underpowered. As it is, he had an extremely tough row to hoe and I’ll probably revamp the role considerably the next time I run a mystery setup.
