Scuba’s reveal said it was in fact random. Episkey could be different, but at this point there’s no reason to expect that he would be.
What’s bugging me isn’t so much the coincidence itself as why run the risk. However it happened, Episkey went two nights in a row without anyone but himself reporting his results. Now someone else does: either Silver Jan or Septimus. A scum Episkey would have to guess he is insane (not paranoid), by analogy with Scuba Ben. He can control only who receives the results he sends, not whose alignment is reported. Why on earth does he target a townie, when the result sent could very well be “Scum teammate X is a villager”? It would verge on suicidal. Whatever the verdict on lilflower (and I still think it could go either way?), Septimus and Silver Jan need scutiny tomorrow/overnight.
Meh. I don’t think it’s reasonable to expect perfect symmetry in roles; it would be poor game design. I do expect a scum roleblocker, probably some variety of scum redirector, and I don’t know what else after that.
Targeted by whom? I don’t remember. That aside, there was her claimed block of Episkey a couple of nights back (on a night Scuba Ben was also roleblocked). I don’t think that’s definitive, though.
I also think scathach and Giraffe need another look.

SJ recieved the false read on gnarly charlie on n1 which is why I think it more likely SJ is town than Septimus. Probably need to go back and see who has claimed/whispered what about the two of them (Septimus and SJ)
Both reads on Lilflower wouldn’t be the first coincidence in this game - I was very suspicious of the Gnarly charlie/texcat mason cliam - whats the chance of two masons who dont knwo they are masons finding each other night one. Apprently very high as it happened.
Scathatch and Girafe have both made soft claims about being the apothecary from memory - Scathatch back on D3 when I revealed I had been told the apothecary role PM, and I think griaffe indicated he thought he might be back on D5. that is from memory - known to be faulty.
I agree that a perfect role symetry is unlikey, but certainly possible to an extent. My theory of one of SJ or Septimus lying would require that Scubabens gossip did not go through due to being dead. which we wont ever know (unless soemone else happened to recieve it but hasn’t told us yet)
JD for the D4 vote - are you concerned about D4 votes on you or the whole d4 vote in general (which was Idle after he screwed up his role claim PM and left the win condition as scum win condition)?
RL has kept me a bit quiet this Day. I had hopes that more would be accomplished.

Nothing seems to be happening at the moment and Day seems to be dragging. I want to do more scum hunting and I would love what Episkeys death will tell us. I am still not sure that he is scum but I want to know either way. I feel his death could tell us quite a lot.
Oh, by the way, I was semi cleared by** Scuba** so I will be looking very closely at those that say I am lying.

Scuba heard a whisper that I was a Villager and I am drinking Autumn Harvest Sparkling Wine :). Have a look at the list by** Lilflower** on page 102. That’s why I said semi cleared cos it looks as if the message came from Drain Bead.

I think he gave up. He’s been screaming about his innocence for two or three Days now. What is important, I think, is his role more than his alignment. Even if he is town, he could have a role that is sending out false scum messages.
