Man, what was it, Ryker Island where Day 1 lasted a month and a half? I almost died inside waiting for that Day to end.
i recall someone from 2+2 mention that in a 21-player game, there are at least two cops/seers. that’s also a difference from what i’m used to. i’ve been in a few large (relative to our experience here) and had only one cop/seer. there might be a backup cop or a universal backup though. i agree that the speed of our games have greatly influenced how we play and value roles.
Quantity of seers has to do with how a game is balanced, though; I rarely have duplications or backups when I run a game (Alice was kind of an exception to a lot of rules) but I balance out that lack in other ways.
But I agree with your agreeing that game speed makes play different.
i’m hoping that when school starts the traffic might die down a touch.
are you sure you want a drink? i’ve been looking at a lot of death row cases lately. particularily fascinating is their last meal.
anyone that would take something said in this game seriously or personally really need not play.
does anyone else feel a little whiff of christmas in the air? letters have been or are being sent to santa (gad). and there is really not a clue what the response will be. do you get the whopping cool red rider bb gun or a lump of coal? kind of all atwitter i be.

Hey guys, I’m back from the land of the dead. As I mentioned, I’ve been sick, and I just got hired on at a new job, so I don’t have any sick time accrued. As a result, I’ve been muddling through work while feeling terrible, which left me little energy for this game. Sorry I missed day end and didn’t vote.
I’m back, feeling better, and ready to play. See you guys once Day 2 starts!
(as a side note, don’t expect many posts from me while I’m at work. Wouldn’t want to piss off the new boss!)
FWIW I will be out of communication until saturday evening MST due to flights etc
I know you will all be missing my insightfull and carefully considered analysis.
My plan right now is to have the next Day end on Tuesday at 3 pm to accommodate people who don’t have much access during the weekend. If this is abhorrent and objectionable to anybody, you should let me know. 
Does anyone else feel like the term “the calm before the storm” is entirely appropriate right about now?
