In my mind it’s a cross between the two. To me a watcher learns who targets their target and a tracker learns who their target targets. Silman would have found out info on their target’s action which seems more tracker-y to me.

I still have to go back and take another look at what the alignments of the dead reveals, particularly since a scum was hit, so that may change, but I definitely want to hear more from him over it.
Glossary note: PFK=Playing for Keeps=Third party that can win independently. Distinct from survivor variants that win with the winning team. PFK and Third Party are not interchangeable, Third Party and Survivor sort of are.

okay, another thing i got to get used to. when i saw that mahaloth was a tracker i assumed he was town since i’m used to blue for town red for scum and green for in-thread messages to the mod.

Interesting that Mahaloth was both shot and poisoned. I assume that means at least two people targeted him last night, a vig and a poisoner. Guiri, I would think, would be a good target for the scum, particularly if they are mostly from around here. Is Silman a likely scum target?
Or it is entirely likely that Silman and Guiri were both scum kills, now that I think about it. There easily could be a scum vig or mechanism for a second kill.

Posting from my phone. Voting from my phone is a PITA, so I don’t plan on doing it, but barring something along the lines of an investigation outing Scum, i will be voting for Scuba Ben as soon as I get to something with a semi-normal sized keyboard.
As I read it Scum is in the dark about their individual powers too so anyone of us/them could have caused the deaths.
I’m sure Scum didn’t target thier own.
