Scuba Ben was the true third, but unvoted.
What is it that you’re getting at, then?
Anyway, Vote Precambrianmollusc.
The guy had no posts Day one, save for two…the first in which he makes an immediate vote on a bandwagon (that later turns out to be on a Townie), and–really–just throwing his reason in there with reasons already stated/used.
It felt off then and, with the revealing of Krayz’s role, feels worse toDay.
Oh ok.
It makes sense then regardless of POGger/SDMB ratio on the scum team
My Silman kill thoughts stand though.
Episkey – Guiri is a great player, very methodical and analytical. Posts like that are the norm for him.
What do you mean? I’m not getting at anything.
I’m just saying that if it was Dancecat who targeted me (who voted for her yesterDay), then it worked out nicely for her considering she couldn’t have KNOWN her power would be to tell those she targets her alignment.
What part of that isn’t the definition of a coincidence?
And I see that Episkey sniped the thoughts I had while I was composing my “vote Precambrian” post.
This exchange seems strange to me for someone who’s not getting at something:
Your question of “but how would she…know it did that?” certainly sounds like you’re getting at something. What’s so coincidental about someone using their power on someone who’s shown suspicion of them?

Ah ok, thank you. So then I’ll take it as nothing out of the ordinary for him to be targeted by the scum team, which throws the main argument of my theory out of the window.
Also, Dancecat really is a Villager, apparently.
Someone must have targeted me in telling me this info (unless everyone got it).It didn’t have anything to do with my Night action since it yielded no result.
Everyone did not get it because I didn’t, but I’m happy to see my read was correct.

I wasn’t asking as if I were confused.. I was asking it as a rhetorical question.
There’s nothing coincidental about someone using their power on someone who was suspicious of them…what’s coincidental is that she used her power on someone suspicious of her and her power just happens to be that she tells me her alignment (thus, negating the suspicion).
Yes, that bolded part, when taken with the rest of it, IS coincidental. As I said: It certainly worked out well for her, didn’t it?
Quick reply to Sachs question to me then probably bit much more from me till Monday. It wasn’t a switch. It was a bad idea but it was proposed mostly to get the call rolling and I didn’t put a lot of thought into it. Go back and read my posts from early yesterDay and you will see that this is what I said from the start. Note my asking people to say why it was a bad idea and saying at least twice that the content of the idea wasn’t the point.
You are better than this sach.
Guiri is well known as a very good player. My guess would be that the suggestion for his kill came from one of us and not an other boarder.
I want to get my thoughts in quickly before I disappear until Sunday.
First, I got no result with respect to my Night action. I was waiting to see if they Lived or Died, then I realized that wouldn’t say anything definite about my role anyway.
Second, I have someone else’s result for them. I was going to try leaving a breadcrumb, but then I figured nobody’s looking for hidden information. So since I’m a Villager / Townie, I’ll say clearly: I gained a second target for this coming Night. I conclude we have an action booster. Whoever you are, thanks! (I do NOT encourage you to reply Today.)
Third, I see people aren’t liking my personal vote conga Yesterday. I figure that was about standard for me on Day 1 – no good place to vote, give people a Scummy feel on me. I have to get ready for Shabbat now, so I’ll be back next week to reply.
As I said: It certainly worked out well for her, didn’t it?
Yeah. It did. Okay.
Unless Dancecat was the one N0 action and she used it on herself, I’m not understanding why you keep pausing before coincidental.

But you didn’t just put out the idea. You acted on it. You revealed your target, which encourages others to do the same.
If you truly thought it was a good idea. I can follow that.
But if you did it “for effect,” then acting on it and asking others to do the same doesn’t make sense.
vote: Giraffe, I think. DanceCat reported as a villager makes him look comparatively worse.

If you mean the ellipsis…it’s just the way I type. : p
(And I do have a little more reasoning than that, btw, but I’m really busy until Monday.)
Good, because I’m not really a fan of trusting Idle’s revelation yet so whatever else you got on Giraffe, I’d love to hear it.
