Name 3 Things You Like About Yourself

Holy crap, another vexillologist here? I’ve been into flags for a very long time, the south wall of my basement is covered with hundreds of flags! (in fact, I’d consider myself a geek of all of the above except Tolkien (am I the only geek that hasn’t read a word of Tolkien yet?), Holmes, and militaria). In fact, I’m very tempted to challenge you to a vexillological pissing contest to show who is the biggest flag geek here.

At least no one can touch my anthematological geekiness. Bow before me, mortals!

(See what you’ve done, melodyharmonius?)

Well, I don’t have that many flags, but I have several dozen, and flatter myself that I know quite a bit about the others. So bring it, dhkendall!

I have looked upon it and seen that it was good.

  1. I’ve been told by many that my fingernails are perfect for the ultimate backscratch. Too bad I can’t give one to myself to see how it feels. Puh.

  2. I have a very nurturing, warm personality.

  3. I seem to be able to teach myself how to do almost anything fairly well: languages, use of complicated software programs, drawing/painting, jewelry-making techniques etc. Next challenge: piano!

Here.

Ooh! Ever taken the virtual tour of the Belgian Military museum in Brusses, then?

Freckafee,, that is indeed beautiful.

  1. I like my smile. I have straight teeth, fairly shiny lips and dimples. And as I tend to look serious most of the time, my face seems to light up when I’m smiling.
  2. I’m patient, calm and easy to get along with, as it’s my natural instinct to be sweet to everyone I meet.
  3. I have a good singing voice, and a better memory for lyrics.

Ok - all you singing & musical folks - we should have a dopefest jam session.

I hadn’t, but just did. Thanks!

My profile picture is my cite.
I’m not vain; I’m pretty average looking usually. But I’ve got one hell of a rack and I’m damn proud of it!

  1. Eh. My figure.

  2. I’m a good listener but don’t get complacent about this as I consider it an important skill that too few people have.

  3. I can write well and in various kinds of styles depending on what’s appropriate.

  1. I like my complexion pretty well.
  2. I am compassionate and tolerant to a fault.
  3. I am extremely organized and hard working.

Modesty becomes you, but don’t over do it. You’re lovely.

As well you should be.

  1. I am starting, finally, to get grey hair in my 40’s. My dad got it in his early 30’s so I have been waiting.

  2. I have strong opinions. I think that’s a good thing though others may not.

  3. The accomplishment I’m most proud of is having learned American Sign Language as an adult. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough opportunities to use it and have forgotten a lot of it.
