Name a film set in this state!

Connecticut…see above

Maryland - Sum of all Fears

Washington?

Kentucky - Goldfinger, if I’m not mistaken.

Florida? Are there any left?

Alabama?

Washington - Sleepless In Seattle
Alabama?

Alabama = My Cousin Vinnie, Sweet Home Alabama.

Sweet Home Alabama? Blecch.

Well, I’ve checked the thread so far and I make it 8 states left!

If you’re still stuck I can list them…

North Virginia?

I haven’t seen anything for Colorado…

OK, I think these are the ones left:

Colorado
Illinois
Massachusetts
Michigan
Nevada
New Jersey
New Mexico
North Dakota

Remember, someone said that Fargo wasn’t set in North Dakota…?

North Virginia?

Damn that refresh button…not like it was funny the first time.

I posted a link to IMDB that lists North Dakota as a location for Fargo.

Working off Herge’s list:

New Jersey is easy: any Kevin Smith film. Let’s say, Clerks.

And since I’m from there originally, how about John Carpenter’s Vampires for New Mexico? There are prominent shots in the movie of St. Michael’s Cathedral, the Santa Fe church where my brother’s wedding was held.

Nevada is easy, too, since lots of movies are set in Las Vegas. How about Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas or Ocean’s 11?

Actually, Michigan has already been done - someone said 8 Mile.

So, I think we have (sorry if someone already posted these):

Colorado
Illinois
Massachusetts

For Illinois, I’ll say Blue Brothers.

The Long Riders (a movie starring the Keach and Carradine brothers as the James and Younger brothers) was set largely in Missouri.

My homestate: Alabama

I know we did Michigan

Oops- Alabama’s been done. (Didn’t notice there’s a second page.)

Let’s cross the border for some bonus points: Saskatchewan

Massachusetts could be A Civil Action

Triple post! Of course I’m last…

Good Will Hunting
The Shining

Of course, someone will have beaten me to it.
