well, you could always name him cornelius, or perhaps arthur. since you said you’ve always wanted a dog of that nature, you could name him oskar(it means “wish” in icelandic). If you’re into the mythological names, you could name him phoebus(feebus), apollo, hades, odin. Or if you like shakespearean names, tybalt, kent, edmund, edgar, othello. the list goes on and on…
happy name hunting. Please don’t name him killer. there’s too many of those running around.
Is Fergie just too obvious?
My favorite dog name is Bob. I feel it’s perfect.
[hyjack]On a totally different topic, as soon as I grow up and get a house, I want a Pug. And I want to name it Weenie. First person to get the connection gets a pat on the back. [/hyjack]
I have a friend that named their dog… D.O.G.
sounds like DDDEEE OOOO GGGG… I love that. But what do I know?? I named my love birds, George and Mary…
megaroo: I know a Chase too.
Canthearya: “Pudding”?
Occam: It’s Nacho dog and I think the little mutt’s glad your not giving it a name.
How about:
Maximus
Einstein
Dog
Larry
Charles
Diana
Quequeg (Scully’s mutt’s name, that guy in Moby Dick)
(some unpronounceable Polish name. Of course you’ll have practice so you’ll be able to pronounce it, just not anyone else)
Cleopatra
Mark Antony
Clark Kent
Wilson
Jeffrey
etc (no really, et cetera)
