New dog! Help me name him...

My family and I have a new puppy. It is a poodle, phanom style. That is black on the top and white underneath.
Please give suggestions for names.
BTW, this is the first thread I have started. Hope it was done well. (The thread, not the dog…
Thanks

Well, you can’t name an animal without being able to see it. Don’t suppose you have a camera, a scanner, a website, and a link?

Corrections…

  1. The correct term is Phantom. The breeder used “Creative” spelling

Additions…

  1. I will get a link going tomorrow. It is late here and I just drove several hours this Sunday with my family to get this dog.

Thanks!

Well, is it a boy or girl, how much does it weigh, do you like cutsy, tradition, or original names?

How about Stinky Backside

or Cutie Pie

or Joe

or Cinderella

or Precolor (you know precolor was black n’ white)

or Road Kill

or Finaligamily

or Yo dude[tte]

Parti Poodle? Oooooohhhhh …

Call name or registered name? Can you even register a parti Poodle?

(My PWD’s call name is Bailey; her registered name is Del Sur’s Dock of the Bay. Most PWDs have nautical or Portuguese themed registered names, with somewhat related call names.)

My bad. Just did some research, and you can obtain AKC registration for a parti Poodle. They can’t be shown for conformation, but they can participate in other AKC sanctioned events.

Nobody ever takes my advice on dog naming anyway. When we got our Australian Shepard pup, I suggested naming him Sidney. But my mom decided to call him Julius instead.

My suggestion would be Whiskey. Our neighbors used to have a poodle named Brandy, so clearly naming poodles after liquors is a good idea.

You could go with some of what seems to be “traditional” names like Cuddles, Teddy or Smokey.
I like Sidney too

It would help if you told us if your doggie is a little boy or a little girl.

Sorry my mistake.
The pup is about 12 weeks old. He is of the masculine persuasion.

Sorry that I have not figured out how to make active links.
Thanks

Mr Cazzle says I can only get a dog if I’ll agree to call it Stainmaster. The name has him rolling on the floor, laughing gleefully. I have no plans to get a dog in the near future  Actually, I want a girl dog, and I want to name her Daisy. It’s just such a sweet little name.

Rex was the name my father gave the dog in the game Alley Cat, because he “wrecks cats”. My father also once gave shelter to a kitten overnight, and named it Claude for the duration. Apparently, it clawed the curtains, it clawed the carpet… When the real owner reclaimed it, she told them that Claude’s real name was Honky Tonk Cat. But I digress…

You can’t go wrong with Buddy.

Right now weight is about 3-4 pounds. Projected weight is about 10-12 pounds.

Pork Chop (pronounced, of course, “Poke Chop.”

That, or Cletus.

Noodle!

Yap!

I’m sorry, but I can’t think of any good names for dogs.

Bob

Just guessing that he’s a miniature: Monkey or Mad Max
