I know there have been a billion photos taken of NYC, there was a series in black and white of NYC in winter, at night. Really stunning shots of bridges, benches, and Central Park with the skyscrapers lit up in the background. I’m not sure of the years, anywhere from the 30’s to the 60’s. They were rather famous and I’ve seen occasional posters of one shot or another. Does anyone know who the photographer is? He went out, alone, at night.
