A friend and me were talking yesterday and I said “Oooh deary me”. She then said, wasn’t that from that sitcom with the Scottish air stewards? I then remembered that that was indeed where I got it. But neither on us can remember the name of the show. It’s driving us crazy.
Info:
- about ten years old?
- BBC program. It was on BBC America also.
- one ginger guy and a dark one. We think one of them was called Stephen.
- their nemesis was a woman called Sheila
- the “oh deary me” thing was their catchphrase.
- they were air stewards
Any help?
:smack:
I really don’t know what happened there!
With Scottish air stewards.
With, with, with.
:smack:
Yep!
Thank you. Now I can get on with my day.
Alan Cumming. That show’s the first thing I saw him in (apart from a couple of minor background parts) and whenever people talk of him like he’s a marvellous actor, I think back to that bizarre sitcom about air stewards.
I find it hard to reconcile.
I mean, sure, he was funny, but I never thought he’d go from there to such huge adulation from so many people.
Especially seeing as, to me at least, he always plays that Scottish air steward. Even when he’s a Russian computer programmer.
Darn it, I was hoping I’d be the first person to chime in with names of sitcoms without Scottish air stewards.
I bet I could come up with at least a couple of names.
Don’t rush me, I’m thinking…
