Name that 60s-70s tune... Help ID

Well, I have the ear worm really, terribly bad and I can’t think of the song’s name or the artist’s name in order to download it. All I can tell ya is that it is in the 60s-70s genre and there is a kick-ass harmonica solo in intro of the first song. The way he plays the harmonica makes it sound like a train. I seem to remember the artist name being something like Black Dog or Black Hawk or something of the sort. (not black hawk the country group, this group is more rock) I have like 10,000 records and I know it is in my vinyl collection somewhere, but I really don’t want to dig through them in order to find one song.

I doubt I am giving enough information, so, in order to make this thread a little more worth-while, what is a song that is worth looking into that has an incredible harmonica solo in it?

I’m fairly sure the song you’re describing is Train, Train by the 70’s Southern Rock band Blackfoot.

“Train, Train” by Blackhawk?

…or maybe even the 1979 hit by Blackfoot?

:smack:

I swear NDP’s answer wasn’t up there when I hit “submit.”

YOU GUYS RULE!!! Freakin’ geniuses, I sware.

Thanks!

*swear too… er… it’s been a long day.

I was going to guess Black Oak Arkansas. Oh well, trumped again :frowning:

Great, now that song is my head.
“Train, train…
Take me on out of this town…”
