Name That Loon: A Nickname MMP

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 43 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of ONLY 57 for the day. We have a GASP freeze warnin’ in effect for tonight. Luckily I have all the makin’s for French toast so I don’t have to panic.

I was even been a little bit productive last night. I made some new N.O.T. in a white sauce and steamed up some green beans. There’s leftover poke tenderloin from Firday, so after deheathenization I shall heat up everything and there’s N.O.L. Go Me!

I shall deheathenate twice this mornin’. See, I had already said I’d be a lay reader for the Lutherans this mornin’. Then, I got a phone call yestiddy askin’ if I could sub as a Lector for the Whiskypalian service as one of the Lectors scheduled has the flu. Hey, it’s the same readin’ so I figure by 10:45 I should be good at it. Still, gonna be a lot of deheathenization for da bear today. Who knows, it might even stick.

Now I ned more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, purtification for double deheathenization must commence.

Happy Sunday Y’all!

Afternoon, all! Cocktails were consumed last night, managed to get through seven limes so that was a creditable performance! Today I have vacuumed and tidied up, there will be some exercise later and that’s about it for the day. I plan to spend the afternoon on the sofa drinking tea and watching Boardwalk Empire because if I don’t do that, I’ll forget who’s who and what’s what.

On the subject of Who, I didn’t watch it either. I used to watch it every week when I was a kid, but lost interest after Tom Baker left, he was the last proper Dr, the ones after him were just messing around with the part.

Blurf.

Here’s a ukulele piece I wrote, inspired by morning. If you don’t mind me tooting my own, um, ukulele.

Working on music stuff today. If the internet doesn’t completely suck me in…

Happy Sunday!

It’s a nippy windy 26 degrees outside with a projected high of 36.
Sadly, I have to go outside today. One of my remaining clients wants to meet the girl next door so we will bop over at noon. I’m thinking I may want a remote starter for the truck after all. It would be nice to have it all warmed up before I have to get in.

Outside of that it is irk irk irk today.

Make sure you halo is all shiny!

We ran to Cracker Barrel for breakfast, then to Walmart for milk and generic q-tips, because it was close. **FCD **toyed with the idea of doing leaves, but between the cold and the wind, he wisely opted out. He’s got a fire going in the basement and I’ll be heading down to my studio in a bit.

We were getting a low tire pressure warning - I’m sure it’s because it’s so freeeeeekin’ cold out!

Morn… uhhh… afternoon all!

Got called into work with an hour’s notice last night- someone had to leave, so just at the point I was going ‘ahh, I’ll crack open a beer and watch a film’, I was called to stand outside a pub in the town centre until 3.25ay emm, which is a silly time to work 'til, especially without notice. Also especially because it was the first proper frost we’ve had. Brrrrr…

Today’s mission should involve buying some work suitable gloves, but it won’t, 'cos I slept so late the shops are going to be shut shortly.

Oh well, beats having no work.

Incidently, I don’t think I’ve ever voluntarily seen an episode of Dr Who; for some odd reason my religion teacher at school kept shoehorning it into class, so I saw quite a few then, but other than that I’ve just not bothered. Half my friends are serious fans though…

Morning, I’m up and caffeinated. Hockey tailgate this afternoon.
Neat piece, Midget.

BooFae, Baker was my 1st Doctor.

Nut, well how else are you going to learn about Sontaren physiology except by watching Doctor Who in Religion class? And good luck on the glove hunt.

Twenty damn six damn degrees now, and a damn high of thirty damn six damn degrees promised.

Oye.

Heh. I didn’t even notice you had misspelled it.

It is twenty-four American degrees outside. Who’s staying in today? I’m staying in today! My fuzzy-leaved plants may not make it back into the windowsill today. Right now they’re camping out by the heater on the floor.

Sunday blurfage

Midget Nice Piece.

I got home from irk last night in time to see that Mom had been wakened by Higgs. That was 14 hours of , well, unpleasantness. This was all about incompetence and self importance from the band’s tech. There are times when I wish it was legal to drown someone in a large vat of cold urine. This is why I should not be put in charge of much more than a rock show and never be made Emperor of the Universe, the “Urine VAT” would be outrageous.

“U VAT” Gotta remember that, could be very useful someday.

Last night was with the Children of Ibrahim (Arab Idol), next Sunday I am with the Children of Abraham (Concert at the Temple). Life is just odd.

Happy Sunday all

In just a few hours, I have an appointment with a Woman, wish me luck.

Cheers

Jim

Good luck!

I’d vote for that.

Good Luck! But if the Children of Cthulhu(R’lyeh Rite) off you a gig, just say no.

Thanks Capt Kirk.

It’s cold out. Maybe I’ll don my yellow hoodie. I look kind of silly in it, but who cares, I’m not going out again today.

Howdy Y’all! Home from double deheathenization and have had N.O.L. Also have some beef/veggie soup simmerin’ away cause it’s a good day to make soup. It’ll be good for a meal or two next week plus some to freeze for later.

Midget nice piece of music!

'Tis 53 Amurrkin out and very, very windy.

We’re sitting at freezing - brrrrrr! And still very windy. I just let the dog out, and it was almost too cold just to open the door!!!

I detailed 2 monster pots and 4 penguins. The remaining pot that was going to be a penguin is going to be a Christmas tree instead, just because. I’ve also got to decorate one more pot and 2 jugs - all will get faces of some sort. I’ll let everything sit in the damp cabinet for a couple of days, then I’ll pull them out to dry completely - probably with a fan to assist. I’d like to fire everything next weekend. We shall see…

I have just been informed that today is the 25th anniversary of the Very First Mystery Science Theater 3000. I shall not link to the first episode because the KTMA (public access channel) episodes were okay at best.

I often confuse the two.

Thanks swampy.

I’m wearing the hoodie now. I think I’ll go back to playing the piano once I’m finished my Dr Pepper.

In my studio, the basic shape is the same. :stuck_out_tongue:

Penguins.
