I recently got Alexa. I found a game called Song Quiz. You pick a decade and they play seven clips of songs (usually containing the title of the song). The game is to name the title of song and artist. You can play against random people. I frequently get a perfect score and have won every game against other players. And that is more the quality of opponents than my abilities.

Are there more challenging games out there? Where?
Can’t you ask Alexa? I mean, I don’t have one, but isn’t that its for?
Jeopardy! and National Geographic’s Geo Quiz are two of my go-to Alexa games.
The SongPop 1 & 2 apps let you play against random people or friends.
Good point. But, it was through the Alexa App that I found the one I mentioned. It appeared to be the most popular. I was curious to see what “smart people” liked.
We stumbled on to Song Quiz a few weeks ago and have had much the same experience – we win nearly every game, and there are a lot of repeats in the song clip selection. A couple of days ago, the game started offering us an upgrade to a wider variety of songs, implying that it would be more challenging. Problem is, the cost for this upgrade would be $7.99 per month. No way we’re doing that. I, like you, am looking for different challenges. I realize there’s going to be a cost for our entertainment, but this is a touch extreme.
