Name the movie/TV show from the minor occurrence

** RF4 - A man whistles during a cab ride.**

The Lady Vanishes? (ISTR the male lead trying to remember the musical clue the vanished lady left him)

Notorious?

Here are a few of my own. They shouldn’t be too hard.

NDP 1 - A man talks about being part of a barbershop quartet in the Midwest.

NDP 2 - A woman sells clothes she just stole from a laudromat.

NDP 3 - A man complains about somebody keying his car.

NDP 4 - A man drives his car into a residential garage of somebody he doesn’t know to hide it from repo men.

Here’s my variation.

NDP 5 - A hood sarcastically praises the lead character’s outfit.

PM1 - a man in an elevator praises the lead character’s outfit.

NDP 1 - The Usual Suspects
NDP 2 - Fight Club
NDP 3 - Pulp Fiction

Fight Club

Dammit, Nailbunny! You got me as I was typing!

Spiderman 2.

OK, here are a couple for you:

VP1: A teacher checks the sun to determine the time.
VP2: A dinner guest looks puzzled at his glass of wine.
VP3: A woman loses repeatedly at a slot machine.
VP4: A former baggage handler discusses the weight capacity of a bag.

Some from me;

RT1: A man thanks another as he gets aboard a bus.
RT2: Two men on a stage turn around to reveal babies strapped to their backs.
RT3: A man tells his fellow captive not to look at a box.
RT4: A woman waves at a man while walking down a wall.

The Last Supper

Sadly, I don’t know any…but I can’t help myself

C1: A main character praises a minor character’s outfit, while in an elevator.
(how many more variations of this can we come up with?)

C2: A vampire rides a stationary bike.
C3: A woman intentionally doesn’t put enough gas in a car.
C4: A ghost feels cold feet on her back.
C5: A slave tap dances.

JT1 - The dog does his impression of a penguin.

JT2 - The turtle sticks to the ceiling.

JT3 - Her shockingly inappropriate use of a fork causes her great embarassment at dinner.

Nope, sorry. Are those hard? I thought they’d be easy…

The Teeming Millions got most of them right.

  1. Perry Mason
  2. Mighty Joe Young (Greg at wheel of van; truck driver unaccountably stops in middle of intersection, and charges Greg, who puts him out with one punch!)
  3. Silent Movie
  4. It’s a Wonderful Life
  5. Addams Family
  6. NCIS
  7. Rear Window
  8. The Caine Mutiny
  9. Forrest Gump
  10. Dragnet “Blueboy” episode
  11. Magnum, P. I.
  12. Psycho
  13. Andromeda Strain
  14. Sanford and Son
  15. 12 Angry Men (Henry Fonda is angered to see Lee J. Cobb and Ed Begley playing tic-tac-toe when he tries to discuss a point of evidence)

Here are some more:
21. A railroad engineer leans on the locomotive’s cowcatcher, holding a long 4x4, which he uses to press down on another plank lying across the tracks; this causes both planks to roll out of the train’s path.
22. A main character in the story plunks a huge supply of quarters into a pay phone–and when his call is over he gestures at the phone and all the quarters come back out!
23. A big, clumsy man knocks a door down–but saunters away with a who-cares gesture.
24. A man with spiky hair appears on the scene, hollering through a bullhorn.
25. A severely damaged piano plays “The Star Spangled Banner” of its own accord and then falls apart.

27. An embarrased, naked man in a tree tries to communicate his immediate need to Italian nuns looking up at him.
28. A doctor looks into a just-landed helicopter with great concern.
29. A young fireman pops covers off parts of a syringe, with his thumbs.
30. A gang of marauding cats is herded into an open manhole by the cartoon’s hero.

The Princess Bride?

  1. A main character in the story plunks a huge supply of quarters into a pay phone–and when his call is over he gestures at the phone and all the quarters come back out!

Dark City?

Emergency. IIRC, this was always part of the opening credits.

The General with Buster Keaton.

Journey to the Center of the Earth with Pat Boone.

I’ve never seen Princess Bride or Dark City. :stuck_out_tongue:
I’ll give you a slight hint: No. 22 is a 50s movie musical and No. 23 is a 60s sitcom.

Then No. 23 is The Munsters

Is that part of the opening to the “MASH” TV series?

Of mine, the first three have been answered correctly. The following two remain. I’ve added a few more hints to both.

NDP 4 - After his right front tire blows out, a man drives his car into the* large* residential garage of somebody he doesn’t know to hide it from two repo men.

NDP 5 - A [smiling] hood sarcastically praises the lead character’s outfit.

Here are a few more.

NDP 6 - A man apparently caught dead to rights in a bathtub ends up shooting his would-be assailant because he monologues too much.

NDP 7 - While tromping through a jungle, a former chef talks about some of the culinary crimes he was forced to commit once he joined the military.

NDP 8 - A man insists on drinking nothing but milk while in a pool hall.
