Have you seen this movie? http://imdb.com/title/tt0080421/
It’s Roger Corman’s sci-fi version of The Seven Samurai/Magnificent Seven (includes robots and aliens, but no vampires, as far as I know).

Wow, no way! I’ve actually noticed this at Hollywood Video, available for rental. Is it watchable?
I saw it a long time ago and forgot about it. It is a little campy, I remember laughing while watching it. I would say watch once but don’t expect too much. Sci-Fi movie from 1980 on a Corman budget.
I thought it was great (I actually bought the DVD), but then again, I have really bad taste, so maybe you shouldn’t listen to me! If you think the original Battlestar Galactica is watchable, then you might like this film, which has the same sort of cheesy Star Wars rip-off effects…it’s a campy sci-fi flick that actually aspires to being a sort of intellectual film (with the John Sayles script and Seven Samurai reference points), which makes it both interesting and hilarious at the same time.
I hate to disappoint you, but I believe someone already beat you to the punch.
I dread the day that a film executive realizes that he could probably choke a few more dollars out of the American public by releasing Alf: The Movie, featuring a CGI, sass-talking, skateboarding Alf.
It wasn’t CGI, but Project: ALF (1996) (TV).
Do we have any Hollywood moneymen in the house? That sounds like the Greatest. Movie. Ever!!!
Can’t you just picture the Bruce, Samuel L and Walken banter?
