Names some films with famous spoilers

After giving it some more thought, I’ve decided I want to add Th ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss, could always ask hwe

And decided to add Aliens

Get Out

The hell? That did not look like that when I posted it.
At any rate, I decided to add Aliens. Maybe a mod could get rid of the static? go from
the word “decided” at the beginning, to the one at the end-- getting rid of one of the “decideds,” of course.

Spider-Man

My wife and daughter cheered when he let that crook get away. Little did they know…

Spider-Man Homecoming is, I believe, the last time I’ve heard a theater-wide gasp at a ‘spoiler’ twist.

Not that famous, but

The Relic
The Blob
(1988 version)

I guess. It’s no Psycho type thing, but similar.

Well, against that, it’s hard to stuff and mount an amorphous jelly-liker creature

(Although there do exist fossilized jellyfish)

The Mist.

The Prestige
Identity

Shutter Island. This movie didn’t get the love it deserved.

I can’t believe this hasn’t been posted yet: Blade Runner.

Ender’s Game

I never saw the movie, but I assume that it had the same plot twist that the book had.

There was also some cheesy horror movie from the early 70’s that featured a boy who was revealed to be a girl at the end. During the movie, he made love to a blow up doll. Siskel or Ebert mentioned it as one of their guilty pleasures. I can’t remember the title.

Vertigo

Ender’s Game is actually a fairly solid and accurate adaptation of the book and it does keep the twist and even the epilogue section accurately. I thought they might trip out the epilogue. No, the kept it.

The Conversation

When this movie came out in 1974, in the review in The Chicago Tribune, Michael Wilmington gave away the ending in the first sentence. At that time nobody used the phrase “spoiler alert”… or even “spoiler.” I have never read anything by him again.

The Sixth Sense

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

A surprising one, but there is a pretty major spoilerific twist in it.

Scream (the original)
