According to her brother she’s been this way about the republican presidents a while. writing gross letters Bush II as well. It’s not just a Trump thing.
New theory I’m hearing and I’ll pass along.
Natalie Harp is working for Russia. The Russians know Trump’s weakness for women and they found one who is Trump’s type. The Russians recruited Harp and she’s in it for the money. Harp is another Aldrich Ames or John Walker not a Kim Philby or Klaus Fuchs.
She worked her way into Trump’s innermost circle by laying on the flattery with a trowel. With Trump’s patronage, Harp was able to bypass normal security clearance vetting. But she has access to everything Trump has access to, which is all levels of classified information. Which she then passes on back to Moscow.
Can you imagine Trump having a healthy, “normal” relationship with anyone?
The closest he ever had was with his children. I do remember Ivanka, though, say that while growing up, it was clear that “Dad first, then us” was the general policy. That’s not a very healthy relationship. Your kids should feel like you put them first in most situations. I’m sure it was clear to the Trump kids that if a building was burning, Donald was NOT running back in for them.
How the heck did they get to her? I know he is a compromised asset(usable, manipulatable, easy to flatter) , but if they actually fully brought her in to their fold, I would hope that would be caught.
I see she went to Liberty University. My cousins did as well…and it leans very culty when it comes to right-wing stuff. They are the type of Christian University that invites even Trump to speak, as if he is a Christian of any sort.
I get the impression that she’s a crazed stalker that the secret service and campaign staff correctly wanted to keep away but Trump’s narcissism is so unbelievably strong that he let her continue to stalk him and then even promoted her to personal aid just for the narcissistic fuel she provides
And, certainly not a healthy relationship with Ivanka, given that he regularly talked openly about her like a sex object, including when she was a teenager:
- “Don’t you think my daughter’s hot? She’s hot, right?” (1997, when Ivanka was 16)
- “You know who’s one of the great beauties of the world, according to everybody? And I helped create her. Ivanka." and “My daughter, Ivanka. She’s 6 feet tall, she’s got the best body. She made a lot money as a model—a tremendous amount.” (2003)
- “I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.” (2006)
Everybody in the Trump orbit is broken in some way.
Not the opportunists. They don’t believe in any of that shit. They are the scary ones.
In my idle moments, I will admit to wondering about possible Russian ties with Harp as well considering how convenient the situation would be. If what has been said about her being like this for a very long time, comments from her brother for example, I think it’s much more likely that she is simply unhinged and is 150% subsumed within the cult psychology. Probably the more likely answer.
That said, and I apologize if this comes off a bit dark and I recognize the speculative nature, but I do think the secret service needs to keep a close eye on her. This level of single-minded obsession with an individual of authority and influence is neither unheard of nor healthy. Anyone who was willing to jump into the trunk of a vehicle or run behind a vehicle in motion in order to avoid being separated from said person, is also extremely unhealthy and if somebody were doing that to me I would be highly suspicious of their motivations. Obsession is not a rational state of mind and can switch from love to hatred very quickly. And can be triggered by almost anything.
Any or all of Money, Ideology, Compromise or Ego. If the Russians wanted to be real shits about it, her handler would pose as being from a third country, so she thinks she’s spying on behalf of the UK or etc. And it’s not too much of a stretch to assume Russia would compromise a trusted aide to the President. Trump himself would be a terrible asset and impossible to manage. But if you took Natalie Harp and told her to fetch certain classified information, she’d at least know how to plug a USB stick in.
I feel like Trump and Melania have an arrangement where Trump does what he was always going to do anyway and she gets to indulge herself with other men as she pleases so long as she stays quiet about the Epstein stuff. I would be surprised if Trump and Melania have any kind of intimacy beyond him death-gripping her hand when she is forced to attend events with him. I can easily imagine Melania having the attitude that if Natalie wants to tend to those needs for him, she’s welcome to it because Melania sure isn’t going to do it.

The side-by-side comparison to Ivanka is about halfway down. It’s not a 1 to 1 match but it’s close enough to make a person wonder.

I see a change in makeup, hair color, and facial expression. Yes, she changed her look, but I don’t see dramatic plastic surgery (or any really).
But there is no question that she changed her look for him.
You would hope so but then again this is the same administration that had that Signal leak where a reporter was accidentally invited to war planning (that should not have been done on Signal). In any case, substitute one’s own favorite method for sneaking classified data out of the White House. The least the Russians can do is ask.
I wonder sometimes if the reason why she is still around is because in the depths of Trump’s dementia he actually thinks she is his daughter. After all, he thought E. Jean Carroll was his wife and that was a while ago. I doubt Trump’s perception has gotten any sharper since.
I wouldn’t be surprised if his perception fades in and out, as he “sundowns”, and having someone nearby that resembles his daughter is comforting. It wouldn’t mean he thinks that’s who she is all the time, but when he has his moments, it keeps him calm.
Comfort. Sure, whatever euphemism you’d like.
The story about Harp being a “stage 2 bone cancer fighter” is complicated by weirdness in a report from 7 years ago.
I wasn’t aware that sterile water is a carcinogen, but there are all kinds of miracles at Liberty University, so who knows?
