A more apt description would be that it took exactly one post for lefties to express complete agreement, probably one post for a particular conservative to experience chagrin at the unexpected response, and between 21 and 39 posts for conservatives to prove what utter cunts conservatives can really be. As for attacks on the OP for bringing it up, are you on crack or something? The only attacks on the OP in this thread have not been about the subject of the OP, but have been as a result of his asinine non sequitur about the left.
My intent with post #22 was to deliver a humorous poke at the left regarding their propensity for dogpiles on politicians who represent the GOP. After reflection, I can see how the words I posted were beyond what a reader could be reasonably expected to recognize as having a humorous tone, and for that I apologize to all who were offended.
