NBA 2023/24 Season

There are a lot of players worse than him getting drafted every year, someone will take him for sure. You don’t have to be a Wembayama to make it in the draft, 59 other players also get in. If nothing else someone will take him as a gimmick and the possibility that Lebron might wanna play with him at some point.

Too late to edit but Orlando drafted Juwan Howard’s son Jett last draft with the 11th pick and he has done absolutely nothing so far, spending most of the season in the G league. No reason that couldn’t have been Bronny.

He’s probably destined for an extended stay in the G League until he shows enough to play with the big boys.

The Wolves have clawed their way back to #1 in the West. The top three are only a half game off of each other. Meanwhile Boston has a 13 game lead on the #2 Bucks.

2 to 6 is very tight in the east, and getting the higher seed is not even that big a draw as you could end up matched against Philly with a now healthy Embid in the first round.

Should make for some interesting games!

Gonna be at the Magic/Bulls game tonight, can’t wait!

MN plays the Lakers tonight after tanking their last outing with the Suns. Seems like Gobert just stood there and watched Nurkic be a rebounding machine.

Good win last night by Orlando over Chicago, got to go home early and miss the traffic too!

MN over LA by ten last night, which puts them back in the #1 slot with Houston. But that’s a very liquid situation, of course.

It’s been clinched that the Clippers will face the Mavericks in the first round; the only thing we don’t know yet is which will be the #4 seed and which will be #5.

MN barely eked out a win over the Falcons last night. Edwards got himself in foul trouble in the first quarter, then got his 4th in the second, so he had to sit it out. He really is impulsive and needs to understand that he’s useless on the bench.

They should have done better against a football team.

Ending the season against the Rockets, Bucks, 76ers and Bucks again could end up with Orlando going from third to the play in. Which could easily mean back to the lottery.

I think my brain is broken.

One game remaining for the Pacers. If they win, they’re guaranteed a playoff berth. If they lose, they could fall to as low as 8th and be part of the double-elimination side of the play-in tournament.

Personally, I’d like to see us finish 6th and play the Knicks in the first round.

Raptor’s Jontay Porter, younger brother of Michael Porter Jr., banned for life for gambling activities, including betting against his own team. Undrafted out of college in 2019. Bounced around the G-League a few years then caught on with a few NBA teams. Could have had a decent career earning millions playing off the bench, but threw it all away for a net gain of $21,965.

Yeah, addiction is a disease and blah blah blah; the guy is still a moron.

So was last night the end of the Warriors dynasty? I think they will have tough decisions to make in the offseason.

Klay Thompson is done, Draymond Green is a loose canon. Steph is the only one that can still be counted on. It’s pretty sad how badly they mismanaged their lottery luck, they could have a next generation ready to take over.
