Crazy night wow, Embiid is unstoppable.
What an infuriating finish to the game. It’s like they just quit playing because “hey, we’re up by 18!”.
Raptors will struggle until they cash in on a dozen future draft picks. Hopefully they use them well.
The Bucks, apparently unhappy with their 30-13 mark at midseason, fire first-year head coach Adrian Griffin for… reasons?
Apparently the coach ripped them a new on on public fora.
Apparently they are considering Doc Rivers, which is insane to me.
Aaand that’s exactly what they do.
Wes Unseld Jr out as Wizards coach, will be moved to a front office position. I never had much faith in him, and he never did anything to even begin to dissuade me. If he had any other last name or was with any other team he’d have been fired straight up long ago, and deservedly so.
Seems weird to fire a coach when you are not even really trying to compete. Unless this counts more as a promotion since he moved into the front office.
Clearly for personal reasons and not performance.
Luka just dropped 73 last night, scoring is out of this world this season.
Pistons with 5 wins vs. Wizards with 7 wins.
Today, Noon Eastern.
I can imagine both teams genuinely trying to grab another win from each other. What a matchup.
I can’t believe that Lillard is going to have to put up with this shit again. Management totally fucked up the Blazers roster, then blamed the coach and hired Billups to replace Stotts. It was enough to finally convince Lillard to abandon ship, which at least saved him from the embarrassment of the present season in Portland.
The T-wolves barely squeaked by the Nets, after blowing another 18 point lead in a dismal 4th quarter showing. Eight turnovers punched a huge hole in what was a very good defensive effort. Tonight they’re playing the hapless Spurs, but nothing is certain with these guys.
It sure is! The spirit of Wilt Chamberlain is in the air.
Any idea why? (Serious question). Craptastic defense league-wide? A generation of skilled shooters-and-slashers coming of age?
Wizards get their 8th win of the year, keeping Pistons at 5 pathetic wins.
It’s just the playstyle of the current era based about loads of three pointers, not only does that alone raise scoring averages it also spreads out the defense making it even easier to score. There’s been more 60 point games in the past week than in the entire 80’s decade and the same amount of 70 point games in the last year as in the sixty years before.
Annnnnd the idiots blew it again, giving up a 15 point lead in the fourth to lose by one. To the Spurs.
Wow Jalen Duren posts a 20-20 and the Pistons beat Oklahoma City.
This is pretty much their first victory against a proper real quality NBA team this year. I really didn’t think they could do that.
First victory against any team over .500 i believe.
