Spoilers mainly because this is supposedly there first major network “binge” series and I just got done watching the finale weeks before it will be broadcast on NBC.
Though not a killer in the ratings, I think this show is worthy of a season 2 and the finale leave about 3-4 major plot lines open for that to happen.
Gethin Anthony (the Tyrell king wore the reindeer crown on Game of Thrones) is deserving of an Emmy consideration for his portrayal of Charles Manson. Viewers may have a hard time at first because he really doesn’t look or sound like the real life Manson, but his acting overcomes this to create a very complex, scary, and even at times sympathetic character, despite his outrages.
David Duchovny is the polar opposite as an old-time LA Noire gumshoe, and is hard to take in the role at first, but good writing and commitment will win over viewers quickly.
The background of social revolution creates its share of sappy moments, but for the network TV show this is edgy stuff. Im wondering if anyone else checked it out and their thoughts. If not, you should.
